Project Crown: Gone But Not Forgotten
16.10.2025
Words cannot express how sentimental the Crown is to me. After all, I learned to drive in it, going all the way from my learners, to my restricted, to my full license in this car: I learned so much about modifying and maintaining cars, doing my first timing belt job, and learning how to replace suspension parts, fitting body kits, and tinkering with turbos. The Crown has been a significant part of my life the past two years, however, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

While the Crown has been the perfect car for me, as time has gone on, I've been wanting to experiment with different cars a bit more.
Although the Crown is quick, it isn't 'fast'. Although the Crown is comfortable, it isn't the most 'luxurious'. Although the Crown looks awesome, and has a certain aura to it, it certainly isn't an LC500 which has straight up beauty.

This is the problem I found with the Crown. While it is the perfect all-rounder, after 2 years of ownership, I found myself wanting a car that was truly amazing at one thing, even if it lacks a bit in other categories. The new car I believe fits this bill perfectly.

The Crown has been an amazing car. I will sincerely miss it. I will regret selling her one day. I will most certainly wish I kept her longer. But for now, I believe that selling her has been the right decision.

Don't worry though, as we got something exciting coming soon...
